Reasons Behind
Wednesday, December 16th, 2009I was doing the usual work in the office one day when my supervisor routed a brown envelope. It was for a co employee whose mother is severely ill. I uttered a little prayer after dropping a few bills in the envelope. I was very thankful that my family have never been confined in the hospital for any illness. The worst sickness we had in the family was a common flu. I feel a sudden urge of euphoria engulf me and I was very thankful, I have decided to come along with my family in the Sunday mass which I seldom attend due to other activities. When I reached home that day, I logged online and I was searching for the latest car for 2010, when I was directed to a donate car Maryland site.
I read more on the what the program was all about and I learned that I can actually donate car for charity. That is what I have been planning to do, donate a car and make the lives of other less fortunate people happier this Christmas season. At first I thought the the process of car donation is complicated and it will take too much of my time but it turned out that the process is a breeze. I contacted the toll free number on the website and the representative that assisted me was very helpful and accommodating. All my queries were answered and I believe I will be receiving a tax paper regarding my donated car. I also learned that there many people who do donate car to charity for various reason. Mostly it is for a good cause ,others give away their car for tax benefits. But whatever the reason may be, giving away something that have been a part of your life for charity is a good deed.
